CONTRACT LAW

A contract is an agreement, either oral or written, between two or more parties which legally binds the parties to exchange goods or services for compensation usually within a specific period of time.

Many contracts are drafted by attorneys with the contract terms more favorable to their client.

No one should sign a document unless he/she fully understands and agrees to the terms of the document.  Contract terms can be negotiated so that the agreement is equally fair to all of the parties.

Once the contract is signed, the parties are legally bound to perform or pay according to the contract’s terms unless all of the parties agree to amend the contract.

Our law firm can assist you in drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of your contracts such as those listed below:

  • Employment contracts
  • Construction contracts
  • Business agreements
  • Litigation settlement agreements
  • Estate settlement agreements
  • Nursing home admission agreements
  • Real estate sale contracts
  • Marital dissolution agreements
  • Loan agreements and
  • Advancement of inheritance agreements
